ALTON Ashley N. Quigley, 24, of Wood River, was charged Monday with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. A Dupo police officer remains hospitalized but is expected to recover after being shot during a confrontation last Sunday afternoon in the St. Clair County town.
